Your Search Console data, supercharged

Rankability's native GSC integration pulls 50,000 rows of search data, stores 16+ months of history, and layers AI-powered anomaly detection on top. Stop switching between tools — see real traffic alongside your rankings in one place.

What flows in

Everything GSC knows, in one place

Clicks & impressions

Full Search Analytics data — clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position — broken down by query, page, device, country, and search appearance. Up to 50,000 rows per sync, far beyond GSC's native 1,000-row UI limit.

Historical backfill

On first connection, Rankability pulls all available GSC data — approximately 16 months. After that, daily incremental syncs keep everything current. Because Rankability stores the data permanently, you retain history that GSC itself deletes after 16 months.

Index coverage

Weekly URL Inspection API syncs track indexing status for up to 5,000 URLs: indexed, crawled-not-indexed, discovered-not-indexed, excluded by noindex, blocked by robots.txt, and more. Sitemap data is ingested automatically.

Anomaly detection

Rankability monitors your GSC data for click drops (>40% triggers a warning, >60% triggers a critical alert) and index status changes. Anomalies surface in the Reporter alerts panel with dismiss support.

Setup

Connect in 4 steps

1

Open client settings

Navigate to any client's Advisor page, click Connections, and find the Google Search Console dropdown.

2

Authenticate with Google

Click Connect to start Google's standard OAuth2 flow. You need admin access to the GSC property. Rankability stores refresh tokens securely and handles automatic token refresh.

3

Select a property

After authentication, Rankability enumerates all available properties — both domain-level (sc-domain:example.com) and URL-prefix properties. Select the one that matches your client's site.

4

Backfill starts automatically

Rankability immediately begins pulling 16 months of historical data. A freshness indicator shows "GSC data through [date]" so you always know how current the data is. Daily syncs run automatically from that point on.

Where it shows up

GSC data across your entire workflow

Reporter dashboard

GSC Performance card

A summary card showing total clicks, impressions, average CTR, and average position with percentage changes and a sparkline trend chart. Sits alongside the SPI card so you see rankings and real traffic side by side.

Keyword detail

GSC Data tab

Dive into any tracked keyword to see its GSC performance over time. Chart clicks, impressions, CTR, and position with device and country segmentation. A "Pages Ranking" table shows all URLs receiving impressions for that query, with cannibalization warnings when multiple pages compete.

Data explorer

GSC Explorer

A full-powered data explorer for the entire 50K-row dataset. Browse by queries, pages, or query-page combinations. Filter by date range, device, country, position range, impressions, clicks, and CTR. Sort by any metric. Export to CSV. One-click "Track this keyword" adds any query to your Reporter.

Index monitoring

Index Health dashboard

Summary of indexing status across your client's site: total URLs submitted, indexed count, not-indexed breakdown by reason. Includes a trend chart and weekly change summary highlighting pages that gained or lost indexing.

Keyword detail

Overview tab

GSC clicks and impressions appear alongside the SPI score. A toggle overlays GSC data on the SPI trend chart to correlate ranking changes with actual traffic impact.

Built for agencies

Multi-account and bulk connect

Multiple Google accounts per workspace

Agencies where different team members manage different GSC properties can connect multiple Google accounts. Each account is shared across clients in the workspace.

Bulk connect wizard

From workspace settings, connect a Google account and map multiple GSC properties to their respective Rankability clients in a single 3-step workflow. Historical backfills start automatically for each mapped property.

Token health monitoring

If an OAuth token expires or is revoked, Rankability surfaces a warning banner on the Reporter dashboard and the GSC card with a one-click reconnect flow. Auth errors are persisted so the team knows immediately when access is interrupted.

"Before Rankability, we checked GSC separately for every client. Now all our GSC data flows into one platform alongside AI visibility tracking. The anomaly alerts alone have saved us from missing critical traffic drops."
